I will never forget the day you went down for your operation due to the doctors not knowing what was wrong with you! Always remember them stating you was way to young to have bowel cancer! The day came 27th September 2005 your operation! The day after I got told you had bowel cancer and you had a stoma. We didn't worry about that though as we got told he would reverse it 6 months later! Operation went ok as he stated and you could have chemotherapy. But things were not that easy you just went down hill and never even got chemotherapy they wouldn't give it you. You stayed in hospital and I was there every day and night with our children or on my own!! We just wanted you to get better. So on Christmas eve you came home it was lovely but then you had to return due the the nurse forgetting to put your morphine in your drive so you ended back in the ward very early Christmas day! That was our last Christmas with you. You then couldn't eat and went very weak and within a couple of weeks on the 17th January you went into an hospice where they were fantastic with you and you was pain free! I spent what I never knew our last night together at the hospice where on the 19th January you closed your eyes at 8.31pm age just 33. Iain we love and miss you so so much our life's ain't the same! The kids miss you like crazy but one thing I know you would be very proud of our two children! Rip Iain until we meet again! Love you always love your wife Claire your son kyle and daughter kara xxxx
